Happy Holla-days! Tis the season for gifting, but the only thing I’ve got wrapped for now is my 2022 Spotify. I really gotta get on that, but not before sharing some new finds from the last month. “Shake It” from Bowser has been the biggest staple in my recent DJ sets and has killed every dancefloor that I’ve run it through, alongside more big breaks from Bombo Rosa and my buddy E.R.N.E.S.T.O. “Inta” by Aloka gives me big feels and “Confused” from Interplanetary Criminal and Amethyst brings dreamy breaks vibes. Stones Taro’s “Clockwork Dub” sent me down a sweet rabbithole where breakbeat meets a deep tech soundscape, and pulled up gems from Sarge Malone and Liam Doc. Some liquid and acid to tickle your ears, plus the newest from my mate Cut Snake, and a feel-good opener from Zero 7.
