Zeds Dead and Delta Heavy came out strong last week with a dynamic and energetic drum and bass track that far exceeded our high expectations. Released on DeadBeats and RAM Records, “Lift You Up” is a beautiful combination of both acts and their respective sounds and styles. Simple lyrics highlight both a full bass line and a synth that is simply beautiful.
“Lift You Up” begins with a soft, delicate intro before it quickly builds energy and intensity. Zeds Dead and Delta Heavy keep the track fresh by switching the drops in subtle and not-so-subtle ways, helping “Lift You Up” avoid the somewhat repetitive nature of many drum and bass tunes. Overall, the artist combination is a welcome surprise, and they released an exuberant track that will likely appeal to both new and o.g. drum and bass fans.
