This Is Toolroom 2019

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and what better way to celebrate than by jamming the newly released fire that is This is Toolroom 2019!  Again, the Toolroom family has completely outdone themselves, and recently released the album just four days ago on February 2nd to share with all of you fabulous listeners. Bringing all the groove, diversity, and downright sauce, there’s a little something for everyone. Whether you’re a progressive house lover, a tech-house head, or team techno all the way, I have no doubt this album will be in your favorites until next year’s release of This Is Toolroom 2020.

Created by the man himself, Mark Knight has not only gathered a compilation of incredibly talented artists for this album, but made an epic addition to it as well with his track, “The Mystery of Old Ma Clifton”.  Yes, the song is just as funky as it’s title, and yes, it’s a bop. We’re also greeted by more familiar Toolroom faces such as Eli Brown, Wheats, Adrian Hour, Illyus & Barrientos, Kinnerman, Frederik & Kusse, and so many more.

If you haven’t caught a performance from some of these super talented artists at Stereo Live’s Private Label sessions, Cle’s poolside summer parties, or Gravity’s groovy Boogie Nights, don’t worry! Catch up on their masterpieces with this album to scratch that tech house itch, and keep your eyes peeled for them to reappear on upcoming events in the Houston area this year.

2019 is stocked with amazing music and opportunities, and the Department of Dance is always happy to keep you guys updated, moving, and grooving. Happy Techno Tuesday everyone! Stay tuned, keep dancing, and much love!
