80s New Wave/Synth Pop pioneers, Bronski Beat, reformed for a new album last year, The Age of Reason, which in itself was already a rework of their landmark 1984 album, The Age of Consent. This year, a remix of those remixes came out in a new album, The Age of Remix. All background aside, the result was this week’s New Music Monday – Hard Rain (Cev’s Remix), which is a soulful, deep house version of the original track, is a simply solid floor filler. Enjoy!
