In the wake of the announcement that SFX would file for bankruptcy, TomorrowWorld organizers have communicated that TomorrowWorld will not happen this year. The Facebook page made the following status on their Facebook page:
This news has been met with a lot of disappointment from people expecting to see TomorrowWorld continue in spite of last year’s problems. It comes on the heels of word that Beatport is to be sold to the highest bidder. A motion has been filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to begin the proceedings. More fall out is expected from the SFX bankruptcy filing and we at the Department of Dance will keep you posted.
