Heyhey DoD fam! Happy New Year and welcome to another year of Fantastic Finds!
For 2023 I’m excited to launch “Features:” –I’ll be enlisting some help from my besties in the industry to bring you some of their favorite finds and feature their latest releases. First up to kick off the series, you knew it, it’s Justin Jay.
Justin’s tunes are no stranger to the FF platform. He’s the head of the growing Fantastic Voyage Music empire, including two sublabels, “Now That’s What I Call Bootlegs,” and “BangersOnly,” his rave-revival imprint. His DJ style has been described as “if-it-parties” and he boldly leaves no genre unturned behind the decks. This month I’m featuring his latest release, “Hi Yuhhh,” and his personal Fantastic Find: “Different Ways To Love You” from Pocket. Next to Justin’s features, this month’s picks from me lean heavy into breaks and DNB, with massive releases from Isenberg, Osutin, and Detroit’s Filthiest. If you’re into the groovy stuff though, I rounded out the list with some big favorites from Dimmish, Jesse Jacob, Matt Egbert, and Dam Swindle. A little something for everyone to start this new year strong <3
