A host of talent has been simmering in the world of bass music and CloZee has arrived with a carefully crafted compilation to serve some of the freshest cuts to eager listeners. After two albums and several singles, CloZee has now taken the reigns at Gravitas Recordings to assemble artists for Emergence. CloZee handpicked tracks from artists like Dallas, Texas producer capshun who produced alongside Floret Loret, Syksia, An-Ten-Nae, Esseks, and Fakear, whose tracks were released on February 16th and February 22nd respectively, Dysphemic, and many other exceptional names in the bass music arena. Credit for the artwork of the compilation goes to Android Jones, a multimedia artist that hails from Lyons, Colorado. The attention to detail brings the compilation full circle, embodying the theme of discovery. You can listen to “Emergence” by visiting https://emergence.fanlink.to/curated-by-clozee.
The Emergence compilation comes on the heels of the Emergence Festival which will stream live on Twitch on February 27th. I was listening to electronic dance music without even knowing it when I was listening to Jock Jams in the 90s. Fast forward to my senior year in high school and I had discovered Fatboy Slim. I have been listening to edm ever since and love writing about new sounds, good sounds, and the music that makes us move.
