Remember Blake Lewis, the one who almost won it all on the sixth season of American Idol? Well, he’s kept his feet firmly planted in the music industry over the years and serves as an example of a person truly committed to his craft. Blake Lewis was a busy bee throughout 2020, releasing Wanderlust Unknown, going on tour with Acapella Live, appearing with PostModern Juke box on StageIt, and livestreaming all manners of concerts. Now Blake Lewis and drummer KJ Sawka of Pendulum and Destroid fame teamed up to kick down the door of 2021 with their ambitious new project, The Private Language.
The photos circulating of the Private Language showcase the two men in shades that look like they are dripping paint with holes over the piece that shades the forehead. The holes must allow for some of their creativity to seep through because from the sound of it, their craniums are not able to contain the musical art that is about to be introduced to the world.
The new music concept has been in the works for over a year, with the duo first posting to Instagram back on February 6, 2019. The pair’s first offering is their remix of BT’s “The War,” released on Black Hole Recordings, January 22, 2021, featuring the soaring vocals of Iraina Mancini. The remix could fit into any decent drum and bass set.
You can find a preview of what The Private Language will have to offer by visiting their website www.theprivatelanguage.com, where more material from Secret Dialogue is on display for streaming.

I was listening to electronic dance music without even knowing it when I was listening to Jock Jams in the 90s. Fast forward to my senior year in high school and I had discovered Fatboy Slim. I have been listening to edm ever since and love writing about new sounds, good sounds, and the music that makes us move.
