Gearing Up For Lights All Night (Dallas)

It’s December in Texas and that means a few things. We now have to wear jackets over t-shirts and jeans over shorts so we can manage both the 40 degree mornings and the 80 degree afternoons. Truth be told, it isn’t that bad in Dallas. The weather has actually been pretty spectacular up here in the D. December brings more than just the weather though. December means a step closer to Christmas and more importantly the annual celebration that leads into the new year at Dallas Market Hall, Lights All Night.

Each year is spectacular in its own right. They are always changing something to make the experience better for the festival goers. This year they are adding 3 more stages, more food trucks, and even a disco ball installation that was pretty epic when I saw it at Day For Night(rip). The crew is always stepping it up.

Even the opening parties are pretty sick! Kaskade is bringing his redux set to an opening stage while Ekali has a pretty special house set as well. Trap heads will have their time with Diplo and Gucci Mane. Bassheads will break their necks with Excision and Rezz. Kaskade and Tiesto will return with more mainstream four on the floor. Some of the folks that I am personally looking forward to seeing, however, is Mr. Carmack, the b2b between Bleep Bloop and Eprom, and Hotel Garuda.

I obviously didn’t mention everyone. The lineup is seriously stacked up. Every year I’ve been has been phenomenal in the artist and production area. The Texas electronic music family is always good group of humans to be around. Add a solid festival with a solid reputation and it is pretty solid in my own opinion. Make sure to check out the lineup for this year and some imagery from last year. Looking forward to seeing you there!
