For those that aren’t in the know, Stereo Live has House music – centric event every Sunday on their newly remodeled terrace called “Private Label Sundays”. The event is 18+ and is from 6:00PM to 10:00PM and is clearly catered to early party goers looking for some Sunday Funday!
On this particular adventure, I headed over to catch Shiba San who was AMAZING. Shiba threw me completely into another dimension of house music. He’s a French DJ and throughout his set was infecting his beats with ghetto leaning deep house music that sounded heavily influenced by hip hop. As a DJ he brings supreme dexterity and a deep selection of sounds from every inch of the spectrum.
I had never seen the guy live even though I’ve been listening to him since discovering his music for the first time after seeing Green Velvet at Buku Music + Arts Festival. Green Velvet played “Chance”, a song he made with Shiba San and at that moment I fell in love with his sound and tunes.
Over all Shiba San did a magnificent job moving the crowd with his deep house vibes that fit perfectly with the Patio Vibe of Private Label.
