As the political climate continues to get heated, Zedd put together a quickie all-star lineup for a fundraiser concert benefitting the ACLU, to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. An immigrant of Russia, but of German lineage, Zedd is a pretty hefty immigrant success story. When catching wind of the immigration ban, he announced and released a lineup shortly after we even caught wind of his plan. Talent, including Daya, Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Incubus, Macklemore, Skrillex, and Tinashe, will have 30 minutes to do whatever the heck they want. Tickets aren’t on sale yet, and the rest of the lineup is TBD.

“As an immigrant myself I feel the need to stand up against the tyranny that threatens our basic human rights. I’m thrilled to come together with Daya, Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Incubus, Macklemore, Skrillex, Tinashe and many more (to be announced soon) to help raise money for the ACLU, an organization that works daily to defend and preserve the rights guaranteed to us by the constitution.” -Zedd

We hope that even if the travel ban gets lifted, as it is caught up in a serious strain of legal arguments and blockades, this still happens. A little reminder that we are all one, and all children of immigrants might be the thing this country needs, and could bring even just a few more of us together. We hope it becomes a reality.
