Björk, Aphex Twin and Kaskade have drawn large amounts of attention to the festival, but the lesser known artists on the bill are making a splash and giving definition to the eclectic visions the festival set out to achieve.

Now in it’s second year, Day for Night will take root in the former Barbara Jordan Post Office Campus, the most peculiar of venues. Don’t let the name of this building fool you. This colossal multi-story compound sits on a whopping 16 acres in downtown Houston and has an interior square footage of 150,000 square feet. Day for Night will be the first event of its size to be hosted there.

This year there are four stages, two of which will be outside. Inside Day for Night adventurers will find a vast amount of visual art installations, including some interactive pieces. The installation that has caused the most ruckus, however, is Björk Digital. Björk Digital is an immersive, virtual reality exhibition that places you inside of one of Iceland’s most prolific, colorful minds with the help of VR stations and virtual reality videos.
