#throwbackthursday DJ Tiesto Edition

Hey friends, guess who’s back, back again. Well, with all the hoopla that has gone on this week between Tiesto and Deadmau5 etc., I thought it might be a good time to remind the world that back in the day, DJ Tiesto was a beast. This 2002 mix from Club Space Miami is 2 hours of solid reminders that even though he may produce and play some of the cheesiest of cheese today, he was a driving force in the scene for years. He drops some phenomenal tracks of his own like “Magic Muzik,” and “Lethal Industry,” and some of the biggest tracks of Summer 2002, such as Oakenfold’s, “Southern Sun.”

This set is beautiful and a nice reminder that there was a reason he was the #1 DJ in the world from 2002-2004. I personally wish he still played sets like this in clubs like Rich’s, but I guess that’s why #throwbackthursday exists.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Pride, Houston!!
