If you stopped to read a work email or go on a bathroom break, you might have missed out on the blind presale tickets to Free Press Summer Fest, which will be taking place June 4-5 at Eleanor Tinsley Park. Blind presale tickets went on sale at 10 AM CST. Many eager attendees-to-be reported the tickets selling out in less than 30 minutes. Right now, Advance Tickets are still available. You can get a “collective credential” for $7.18 more. When asked what a collectible credential was by a Facebook user, the Facebook page replied, “It’s a souvenir that looks like a laminate.” Indeed the ticket page for the event describes the collectible credential as a “3D credential” that is only a keepsake and not meant to be used for entry. If you don’t want the credential, just pay $148.50, plus an $18.42 service fee. There were some who were not happy with the hefty ticket price tag and were not shy about voicing their opinion on the festival’s Facebook page.

There was also chatter about FPSF stating that the first tier price would remain at $109 for the duration of the sale and that there would not be tiers. That apparently was not the case per the people below.

I looked on the Facebook page and there was a comment from the page stating how the pricing would go.

In the screenshot below, Free Press Summer Festival lays out what will happen once the Advanced Tickets sell out, so if you haven’t bought yours, now may be the time to do so.

There is already grumbling about the choice made to return to Eleanor Tinsley Park, but from the looks of it, people are still lining up to shell out money for what they hope is going to be a sick lineup and incident-free good time.
