Everyone has been waiting with baited breath since Pioneer teased a video hinting at the release of the new version of their flagship CDJ2000 and DJM900 player and mixer (respectively). The wait is finally over. The introduction video showcases a whole litany of new features designed at bringing more control and production level features to the fingertips of the DJ using the gear, with laptops very much absent in the equation. This seems to be in line with Pioneers previous efforts to put the focus on the DJ and less on the glowing screen of a laptop with their hardware designs.
