Last night a screenshot of a notification sent to someone about their ticket for Insomniac and C3 Concerts’s We Are NRG appeared in my Facebook newsfeed. The ticket was eligible for refund due to the event being canceled. This took me by surprise, as there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Insomniac coming to Texas. I went to Live Nation’s website to see the cancellation for myself and to my disappointment, it did indeed show cancelled.
Knife Party, Mat Zo, G Jones, Ape Drums, Gent & Jawns, Prismo, and Wavedash were to be the headliners at We Are NRG, which was to take place at the Revention Music Center on September 4th. This news comes after Life In Color up in Austin, Texas on September 3rd was canceled. This event was to take place at Carson Creek Ranch and would have featured Seven Lions, Slander, Herobust, and Zomboy. As of right now, the event page for We Are NRG does not show canceled. We will keep you updated if anything changes.
