The first thing that struck me was the size of the place. I was greeted with multiple patios, gorgeous exterior, a beautiful decor, and, of course, Mr. Lancome waiting to welcome me outside and give me the grand tour. Upon entering the upscale chic restaurant, I was welcomed by the smells of their brunch buffet, which I was admittedly a bit late to, but the scent still captivated the senses, none the less. The brunch ranged from salmon, a favorite of Mr. Lancome, to a belgian waffle bar, to standard bacon and eggs and other comfort food favorites. The service was nothing short of outstanding; it was prompt and appropriately attentive.
Speaking of underground, as part of the grand tour, Donovan gave me a sneak peak of the basement level of the facility and let me know there will be an “underground feel” club opening in the spring utilizing the space under the restaurant. Another addition to the Mr. Peeples brunch regalia will be the return of SUNDANCE in March 2015- the Sunday Funday that started it all.
As I checked in on social media the thing that kept jumping to mind about the overall experience was “age appropriate”, which I of course immediately hash-tagged into my status update. I foresee great things with this new #SundayFunday gem, and I know I personally will be making it a regular occurrence.
